A notefrom Alda: Thank you to everyone who made it to the benefit on 11/23/09 and to everyone who didn't go but showed their support in other ways. It was a great success and it was great fun and a huge comfort to see so many friends.
A note from Alda: 11/07/09 Like most musicians, Steve doesn't have health insurance and if he isn't "working" he isn't making money so... any help is appreciated! We are currently setting up a trust fund account so that all donations will go to Steve and not to medical insurance companies. Steve and I would like to thank all of his fans & friends for all of your support on this difficult time in his life and all the musicians who are giving their free time. Steve will start radiation & chemo next Monday and will go for 6/7 weeks. I can't promise he will be at all the events but he will be there in spirit for sure. This is the time we need your help & participation (to help Steve with his medical bills) and if you can't make it, please pass this on to a friend or family member.
